About our text messaging program
Brighten Up Electric sends non-marketing text messages to customers and prospective customers who request them. We use text messaging to respond to quote requests, send and confirm estimates, schedule and confirm appointments, and provide updates about work in progress.
We do not send promotional or marketing text messages through this program.
How you opt in
You opt in by selecting “Text message” as a contact method when you submit a quote request on our website, or by telling us directly that you would like us to text you.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Brighten Up Electric. You can request a quote and receive service without agreeing to receive texts.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your project. Most customers receive between two and ten messages related to a single quote or job.
Cost
Brighten Up Electric does not charge for text messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Contact your mobile carrier for details about your plan.
How to stop messages
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from us. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts.
If you stop messages, we will contact you by phone or email instead. Stopping texts does not cancel your quote request or any scheduled work.
To start again, submit a new quote request selecting Text message, or call us and ask.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
